Problems/work needed

[edit]

The article needs more sources and reference links need to be added to the article with page numbers. The lead section is too short and the short sections need combining as it is rather choppy reading. Quite a bit of the material verges on trivia. Example: church was sold in 1907 ... And do we really need a yearly Dividend Record?

A section on the relationship of the mine to the greater historic copper mining region of Michigan is needed as well as something about the geology of the region and mine. For instance the isolated sentence: All shafts were dug at an angle of 36 degrees from the vertical. deserves expansion -- I'm assuming the 36° was due to the dip of the veins and/or the enclosing bedrock/lava. A title search on Amazon.com indicate the reference is self-published, indicating a WP:RS problem. Vsmith (talk) 15:12, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have done a lot of work to verify the info I originally got from a self-published source. I am now going to try to improve the choppy reading and short sections.John Mortimore Message Me 00:18, 18 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
